Are you fundraising for charity and soliciting sponsorship? This is a great way to cover costs - but beware - these two things can't be lumped together. That's very sketchy territory - both legally and ethically. The best way to to this is to keep everything separate.
"No matter who you are or what you are fundraising for, you need to be as upfront and honest with donors as possible.... Remember that money has to be used as intended by donors. This might sound very obvious, but it's worth considering how your website or online platforms appear.
Is your charity logo next to your request for help covering your petrol? Do you have two similar looking platforms - one for charity and one for team expenses that people might get confused?
Is it abundantly clear where the money that comes in from donors will get spent? If the answer is yes - you're fine.
