The Ngalawa Cup's new format as a leg-race means that you will often know where you'll be staying each night and will meet the other teams there.
Some of the Islands you'll be stopping at will have accommodation, so you might find yourself staying in hotels some nights.
However, a lot of the places en route are either uninhabited or at least, don't have hotels. So you should prepare for a few nights camping.
Most islands have coconut trees and many teams found hammocks to be ideal for sleeping. Some hammocks have built in mosquito nets.
